Scarlet spider

My favourite comic was cancelled this week so I drew this to celebrate an amazing book. The Scarlet spider

colour change test

this test i played around with text and colour to create a decoder text with colour change

im only just  delving into after effects and i know people will be like pfft wheres the lazers and explosions and  giant robots. what a noob. but sorry guys not my area of interest for my improvement. heres a test i did with some basic time remapping just for fun

a quick test in after effects to help me get used to the programme. its a  kamehameha attack from dragonball z

spiderman

a friend of mines  cat died and my friend is a spiderman fan but not as big of one as me. so to cheer him up i did a kick ass spiderman drawing for him, usualy i do spiderman webslinging but i thought he is a wallcrawler damnit so ill make him crawl walls. :) i hope you enjoy it

superman

this is it the final week of the drawing challenge and my lord im sad. its over because were back in uni now and wont have the time to continue. i wanted to go out with a bang this week by trying to create a  truly kick ass drawing of superman in his new 52 costume. and i struggled so hard with it. i hope you enjoy because im quite proud of this

azula

this week i was given azula as part of the weekly drawing challenge, usualy i try to draw backgrounds and enviroments to help my improve but sometims that makes me loose sight of the character so this time i wanted to just draw the character in a mid shot pose. im veryy happy with this. i even tried out some new brushes for the flames coming out of her hands

the legend of korra

so for my girlfriends birthday i drew her korra from the legend of korra animated series. i originaly gave her just the pencils but she asked if i could ink it. after i inked it i coudnt just leave it  at that so i had to  colour it in photoshop

batgirl

this week i was challenged to draw batgirl.  safe to say im very proud of this drawing i think it turned out exeptionally well and i love the effort i put into the buildings and the colours. :)

scarlet spider challenge

this week i was given scarlet spider to draw, my biggest problem ive discoverd is the fact that im not content with just a character pose i find them boring, so i rack my brains thinking of the scenarious i'd find these charcaters facing in the comics, so i had to imagine scarlet spider doing what he does, webslinging, and then where would he websling he cant sling indoors, this was the perfect oppurtunity for me to improve my perspective, this challenge abused me mentaly and physicaly but in the end im happy with it. even if its not to industry standards.

stages of nathan drake

much like my batwoman illustration from 2 months ago i wanted to show the stages of my sketches. i start with pencils but my pencils need to be completly clean. i ink over the pencils because i believe it makes photoshopping so much easier then i take it into photoshop and and add some colour to it. and heres my outcome

this weeks challenge was nathan drake from the uncharted video game series. will ink and photoshop it at some point in time!

gwen stacy

so like i mentioned before me and some friends do a drawing challenge to keep us pushing our abilities this week i was given gwen stacy of spiderman fame. not wanting to just have her in a poitless pose i decided work on the background aswell, the perspective was a bitch but the more you do the better you get :D

judge dredd sculpt

i had not sculpted before so i decided to try my hand at it i had some clay given to me by my girlfriend amy http://amytsanimations.blogspot.co.uk/ and decided to sculpt judge dredd from dredd. i had a great time with this had so much fun and im happy with the outcome for a first time

vegeta

" i was the perfect warrior cold and ruthless uninhibited by foolish emotion i lived by my strenght alone"  this time round i was challenged to draw vegeta. man do i love this character so i wanted to have a bit of fun with the secondary characters

snake

solid snake was my challenge this time. and what chan i say i love this character so much i had a complete blast drawing him and colouring him, ( note i did not draw the fox hound logo)

suki

each week through the summer me and some friends from uni are challenging each other with  a character each week to do in our own style i was given suki from avatar: the last airbender.
