supergirl pin up, pencils and inks practice.

usualy when i draw i use either a H lead and faber castel pit pens, but i decided to shake it up a bit, alot of my favourite artists use a 2H or harder, so i thought id give it ago and i have to admit im inlove with it,  i also decided to shake up my Inking to a use a windsor newton series 7 brush no2. and a g-pen nib. hope you enjoy and id love to hear your thoughts

 and for fun i decided to add a quick ligh ink wash just to see how it looked. im  happy with my

a study sheet of mahmud asrars supergirl i love the way he draws the character and how he captures her power andemotion with gestures of the body! im learning alot about the subtle way he uses his lines to soften the shadows or to add a curve to the leg. he is deffinatley an insiration to me and my style is swaying slightly in this direction whilst still being influence by ryan stegman. and humberto ramos,

for some ridiculous reason certain animations arnt activating in the export, i dont know why

bones mccoy digipainting

as much as i love comic art and would die to be a comic artist i dont want to be limeted to one style so i attempted a digi painting , after watching the reboot startreks i fell inlove with the character bones played by karl urban. i wanted to do a fanart peace of bones but  thought everyone has seen my style, so lets give em something new,  using custom watercolour brushes on a low opacity i painted in bones face from a photo. i am incredibly happy with this peace and look forward to doing more in this style

project flintlock colours,

well ive tried my hand at a new colouring style for project flintlock, but i have conflicting feelings about it, maybe a bit more practice and ill be awesome, but colouring is not my forte its not an area i want to go down,  but it is an area id like to have undermybelt maybe to fall back on ... so here are the colours so far
